Tim Greenwood

Tim grew up near the historic city of Bath and was raised in a creative family: his mother is a painter and sculptor and his father made full length films on 8mm!
Tim has lived in Taiwan for over thirty years. After graduating from University of London in Chinese Language and Literature he worked in Taipei in the education section of the British Trade and Cultural Office before moving down to Tainan to open his own education consulting business.
Tim’s passion for photography has been fuelled by his travels around the world. He is not a technical photographer. Rather, he specializes in the art of capturing special moments that tell a story.
Describing his creative process, Tim says:
“I don’t go looking for photo opportunities – they seem to find me! When I travel, I take a camera wherever I go so I can respond quickly to visually appealing scenes that will also resonate on an emotional level.”
By combining poetry and images Tim hopes to add context, meaning and humour.
